Where Rebecca Stands

Unleash Wyoming Energy

Wyoming powers America, and Wyoming energy jobs deserve a governor who fights for them.

Rebecca Bextel's Position

Our coal, oil, natural gas, uranium, and critical minerals support good-paying jobs, strengthen local economies, and help free America from dependence on foreign countries that do not share our values or interests.

As Governor, she will defend Wyoming energy workers and producers against radical green agendas, politically motivated regulations, and politicians who would sacrifice our jobs, revenue, and independence to please the environmental left.

Wyoming can lead the way toward American energy dominance, and Rebecca will bring people together to put Wyoming workers, Wyoming families, and Wyoming resources first.

What Rebecca Will Do in Her First 100 Days

Make Wyoming Energy a Priority Again

Coal, oil, natural gas, uranium, and critical-mineral production are central to Wyoming's economy and America's national security.

  • Issue an executive order treating reliable, affordable Wyoming energy production as an economic and national-security priority.
  • Establish firm, transparent permitting timelines and eliminate unnecessary delays.
  • Create a coordinated legal and regulatory strategy to challenge federal actions that threaten Wyoming energy jobs.

Put Energy Affordability First

Does it provide Wyoming families and businesses with reliable, affordable power?

  • Support legislation to repeal or reform state policies that raise electricity prices or reduce the viability of Wyoming's coal-fired power plants.

Begin Responsible Severance-Tax Reform

Encourage production and investment without creating an irresponsible hole in the state budget.

  • Convene producers, economists, county officials, and legislators to examine the severance-tax structure.
  • Compare Wyoming's tax burden with competing energy-producing states.
  • Present recommendations to the Legislature for targeted, fiscally sustainable relief.
